The members of the group have known each other for a long time - friendship-connection goes back to the childhood and school times; Matias and Jarno are twins, Jarkko lived right next door. Kastor as a group was born cirka year 2000, in November to be precise. Esko came along in Helsinki, Artturi showed up with his touch and the story started...

We play music together, as inviduals and as a united whole. Everyone has ones share of the sound. Sometimes it's complicated and sometimes it's not. Last year (notorious 2004) was in many ways an important period for us. We made music, played a lot together and made our first record Invisible Triumph that was released in February 2005 by NMC / Siamese Sounds.

You can certainly hear many influences in our music - it's just happening in the world just like everything else. Easiest way to define something that you haven't heard before is to make a some kind list of references, other bands - you name it. Though it isn't just music that makes music happen... you're always exposed, you get things inside of your head even though you would not like to. It's all about combinations.
